Painting - { re } entering [[+timelapsed video]]

for the first time, i've made a video of myself as i paint.

this is also a canvas that i made myself,

foamcore, staples and some tape.

you see this photo as it is, two souls reaching for eachother

you see the passion, the longing, the hope in thier body language

but look at this photo from afar,

and it is also a broken heart..

things are hard in the heart department lately as well..

Nicko and i are starting to get better and he inspired me to try painting again. this is my first creative piece since i started college. hope you enjoy it..

Painting - His Sickness

honestly it started out really well, then i got frustrated,
nick gave me the suggestion to mess up his face since he was sick ( and i had already mis-sized it so i needed a fix ) but we ended up breaking up a couple of days later and i got pissed and did that but it ended up looking cool... still represents the sickness and how it messed him up, i wish we didnt have to break up and be hurt to think of it lol, he also hasn't seen this yet..

my art project :) finally finished it. the vines and character are 3D but you may not be able to tell here

My logo :D

i painted this over a year ago, it's watercolors. i edited it and made it into a logo :) its a symbol i made inspired by the heartagram and the ying yang, i was watching my HIM dvd and i heard how Ville Valo created the heartagram when he was 20 and how it was like the ying yand with the heart as good and the pentagram as evil. i was listening to the band and watching the videos then the song "in joy and sorrow" came on and i began to get an image in my mind. i grabbed my paints and paper and went to work. the tear is the sorrow and the heart (love) is the joy. it may be my favorite creation :)

Painting - I'm sorry

i always paint what i feel,

and at the time i felt very sorry.

 i said something and my boyfriend took it wrong.

he thought i didn't care about him...and it broke my heart.

thats the last thing i'd want him to think,

i do care about him

alot

the hearts flow into tears to show that with love also comes pain

the heart flows into to tears to say "i love you and i'm sorry"

Painting - Souls Entwined

it is actually quite sad how this painting came to be, i was sad

i call it "Souls Entwined," the sybolism is apparent

the two souls are wrapped in eachother's arms 

and

in love

entwined

within eachother

...

the world around them contrasts

like it's rejected them

they're both rejected in almost the same way

(just as the close colors suggest)

and as they embrace,

a heart is thier shape

this painting is a sign of how i long for love

how i long for my soul to be entwined with another's

The title is inspired by the song "Cyanide Sun" by H.I.M.

it makes me think of how i was feeling...but also about love and passion

"souls entwined" ...when you feel that your soul is entwined with someone else's...

you must truly just head over heels for them and you will truly never leave

it's got to be the most beautiful feeling in the world
